Lo ví anoche en Barnes & Nobles, cuesta $60 dólares. Dan ganas de jugar; aunque no se si el tablero TAN grande se convierta en un punto negativo del juego, habría que jugarlo a ver; aunque quien sabe cuánto se demore la armada del tablero.

Saw it yesterday at Barnes & Nobles, cost: $60 dollars. Wish I could play it; although having a board THAT big might become a negative aspects, I don't know, I'd have to play it. Another thing is, I bet it takes a long time to set that board up.

Fotos Azules

Estas fotos fueron tomadas con el iPod Touch (4ta generación). NO TIENEN EFECTOS. Estaba en un corredor del House of Blues de Hollywood, la iluminación era oscura, pero nunca tan azul como se ve en las fotos. Me gustan por que pareciera que se le aplicaron efectos a las fotos, sinembargo no tienen nada.

Este es uno de esos momentos en los que la baja calidad de una cámara/lente funciona a nuestro favor.

Blue Photos

Photos taken with an iPod Touch (4th). Photos have NO EFFECTS. I was standing in a corridor at the House of Blues in Hollywood, the lighting was dark, and not as blue as it looks in the pictures. I liked them because they seem like a lot of effects were done to them, yet nothing was done. This is one of those times when the imperfection and bad quality of a lens/camera actually play in our advantage.

+ Menos mal hoy desayuné, por que son las 2:55PM y no he almorzado.
+ El Sábado ví Capsulas y Todos tus Muertos. La primera no me gustó por la temática, la segunda mejor, me impactó que tiene poco diálogo y casi nada de música, es puro sonido ambiente todo el tiempo.
+ Uruguay Campeón de la Copa América!
+ Esta noche fiesta de los 80's! No ir vestido de los 80's, no; la música va a ser de los 80's.

Mi primera vez / My first time

He regresado a la normalidad!
Por primera vez me decoloré y pinté el pelo yo solo. Lo más complicado fue la parte de atrás y por detrás de las orejas; para ser mi primera vez quedó MUY BIEN.

And I'm back to normal!
For the first time in my life I bleached and colored my hair by myself. The hardest part was the back of the head and behind the ears; for being my first time, I think I managed to do a PRETTY GOOD JOB.

Inception

Recibí el guión de Inception hoy en el correo. Si de repente dejo de tuitear, escribir en este blog, o lo que sea que debería estar haciendo, ya saben por qué es.

Esta película me pareció impresionante. Me encantó la historia, los efectos, la cámara lenta, la música y el final. Y haberla visto en cine hizo que la expericencia fuera aún mejor.

Otra cosa que me parecio increíble, es que el Sr Nolan (el guionista y director) haya hecho otra "obra maestra" después de haber hecho The Dark Knight.

De dónde saca sus ideas? Cómo hace para crear esas historias y entretenerlo a uno de esa manera?

A raíz de estas dos películas, he agregado un nuevo director a la lista de aquellos que admiro inmensamente: Steven Spielberg, Robert Rodriguez, Christopher Nolan, y Michael Bay (si, el mismo).

Me va a encantar leer le guión!

PS: Si Picar fuera un director, estaría en la lista.

Got this today in the mail today. If I stop twitting, writing on this blog, or what ever I'm supposed to be doing, now you know why.

This film got me by the throat and entertained me every single second. The story, the effects, the slow motion shots, the music and the end. I enjoyed watching in the theater.

Another thing which I thought was remarcable, is that Mr. Nolan (writer, director and producer) made another amazing movie after having done the second highest grossing film of all time: The Dark Knight.

Where does he get his ideas from? How does he manage to create such amazing stories and entertain us in such a manipulative way?


Because of this 2 film, I have added Mr Nolan no my list of favourite directors: Steven Spielberg, Robert Rodriguez, Christopher Nolan, y Michael Bay (yes, the same one).

I'm going to love reading the script.

PS: If Pixar were a director, they would be right there.

Parqueadero

Estuve en Nueva York unos días, y caminando por ahí, me encontré con esta maravilla:

Y este soy yo en la mitad de un agaucero el berraco:
Terminé empapado de las rodillas pa'bajo. Solo fueron 3 horas de lluvia, de resto hizo un clima delicioso.

Cruz

Ayer fuímos a almorzar, entre las cosas que pedí habían unas papas. Me las trajeron, y me las estaba comiendo felíz cuando de repente el dueño del lugar se me acerca señalando las papas, yo no sabía por qué:


Qué tal? Me salió una "cruz".

Personas en el restaurante se acercarona mirar, muchos sacaron su celular y le tomaron foto, otros comenzaron a gritar "milagro" (que por que era Viérnes de Quaresma), en fin...

Pues nada, me tocó tomarle foto también por que eso de que el todo poderoso se manifieste con uno no pasa todos los días. ;-)
